Event: 14th Annual Gardens of Uxbridge

Location: Uxbridge Seniors Centre at 75 Marietta Street, Uxbridge, ON


Description: Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to see beyond the gates of 8 private gardens in rural and in town settings of Uxbridge. Homeowners enjoy this time to share their gardens, talk about plants and answer questions. Purchase your tickets in advance to be eligible to win amazing Garden Themed Prizes. Draws will be held weekly leading up to the event. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on the day of.

Event: Community Care Durham Hosts Mayors For Meals Event

Location: Specific Meals on Wheels locations

Description: The Oshawa and Uxbridge locations for Community Care Durham will be hosting their own Mayors for Meals Event on March 24th.  Both Mayor John Gray and Mayor Bob Sheperd will be delivering nutritious meals to Community Care Durham clients.  This campaign is designed to increase awareness about Meals on Wheels and recruit volunteers.


Description:  Join us in our annual fundraising event as we Walk for mental health. The COPE Walk will start at 9 am with registration. After the walk, enjoy a lunch and entertainment. You also have a change to win great giveaway prizes. This Walk not only serves as a fundraiser but also raises awareness of mental illness in the community and supports those who are living with mental health issues.  Come and walk to show your support. See you on May 8th!!
